The SUMERIAN: “The message for today is relative to every living soul on every developing world throughout the far-flung universes of time. Nearly all are working toward the completion of the Great Plan in varying degrees of ‘willingness.’ Some have become aware of this participation, and others are completely oblivious of their participation; yet each, by their very unique design as a child of the Creator, have certain ‘built-in’ maps and plans — potentials that may contribute to the completion of universe destiny, which makes each soul an important ‘agent’ of change. As the children of time awaken to the divine fact that they are indwelled by the spirit of the Father’s presence, they expand and accelerate this process of solving universe problems. Many who remain oblivious may actually add to the ‘queue’ of certain universe problems, which in time will have to be solved through life experience before the scales of Light and Life tip toward completion of destiny.
 
“These ‘built-in’ plans, maps, and potentials are a part of the Life Carriers’ design that links the static imprints resident within your biology with the dynamic spiritual motivators present in both the body and the developing soul. The Thought Adjuster (TA), the Indwelling Presence of the Father, is the Master Operator who facilitates, orchestrates and choreographs this extremely complicated and delicate communicative dance with these static and dynamic potentials to bring about the resolution of certain universe problems that you are uniquely equipped to solve while adhering to your free-will prerogatives.
 
“Your DNA is like a finely tuned crystal that operates by vibrational frequencies that contain the static maps and influences for biological development — from parents, ancestors and geographic stasis, as well as dynamic spiritual receptors and transmitters. These (undiscovered) spiritual receptors and transmitters in the DNA enable ‘dynamic influence’ to co-creatively excite potentials in your personality to ‘move’ and solve a universe problem. The dynamic influence may be so intense and direct as to manifest as an illness or phobia in some individuals to motivate them to resolve a previously unresolved universe problem. As each problem is resolved, the tension from the problematic influence is released and the subtle fields of the body are healed and made ready to resolve the next influential universe problem per the potentials inherent within.
 
“There is a hierarchal principle (a layering) based on the inherent potentials and abilities of the individual to solve universe problems related to the consequence of free-will choice that becomes a part of this ‘map and plan.’ A failure to resolve a universe problem by experience in any one soul is deferred and placed ‘in queue’ and becomes another melody for the Divine Conductor to match up with another potentially talented musician to play. You could think of it like a relay race where each runner passes the baton to his or her teammate with the hope that each will do their part to complete the race.
 
“Each individual soul is a fragment of the One Soul, which means they are all connected and all participating in the Great Plan to answer the Creator’s original question: ‘Who AM I?’ The edict, ‘Be you perfect, even as I AM perfect,’ requires that we leave no question unanswered that is inherent in our potential to answer — as an individual, as a group, as a conglomerate of souls living on the worlds of time all contributing to the Great Plan and the emergence of the Supreme Being — that aspect of the Creator in time. Working co-creatively with the TA to find your purpose is in reality ‘doing the Father’s Will.’ You can do this consciously (actively) or unconsciously (unaware), yet knowing you are participating in universe completion is much more rewarding, joyful and exciting!

Receiver’s note: The SUMERIAN has a lot of very interesting things to say about this, and kept underlining the fact that this subject is most difficult to communicate in human language because of the very complex nature of soul mechanics and the exponential variances in which universe problems are solved. There may also be some energetic interference in and around the various layers of the planet, which may cause you to feel disconnected and many are feeling this at present. Whatever the case may be, know this, Dear One: You are here to experience life in all the fullness and contrast that planetary life brings. There shall be times when your spiritual development may seem to wane and waiver, yet are you still growing through the experience! Have no fear, for fear is the one most potent spirit poisons there is for the creative mind. It shuts down the flow of creativity from the Inner Pilot who guides you.
 
“Give yourself permission to be free to explore the material world and the relationships with others in which you now live. It was created for you to do so. Your spiritual development is always a work in process and we all need reversion from our mission duties—even mansion-world teachers take our leave as we explore more of what the Creator has ahead for us. Share those moments of beauty you see in the world with your Indwelling Spirit. Now is the time to draw close to your Thought Adjuster and begin to have conversations about your future. Teacher Uteah: “It is always darkest just before the dawn — before the light of a new day breaks above the horizon. This is true for those times in your life when it seems that all hope is lost and you are stuck in a situation that would appear to be beyond repair or approach. In times like this, it is best to put your faith in Father’s Grace and trust that something far better is in the works that shall exceed your greatest expectations. Letting go of your expectations allows the universe to go to work and bring the highest good to your life. You may not understand the outcomes of the current situation, but in the bigger picture — in the equation of universe destiny, those things that you relinquish to the Father’s Will begin forming the future — a future that not only includes you, but all others. Father’s Will always moves the future toward light — even in the hours before dawn — the darkest time.
 
“Faith and Trust are the two main ingredients that help you to relinquish your will to control a situation that includes the will of other people in your life. You cannot control what others will do — only can you control what you do — your own energy and how you use it. When you find that you have created a situation that you are unsure how to navigate and you cannot see a clear solution, relinquishing your control and giving it to the Father in Faith and Trust is always the wisest thing to do. At this point, it is a time to sort out your thoughts, take a deep breath and look at things from a higher vantage point.
 
“Allow yourself to be guided in Light. Let go of what you thought would work — clearly it did not and, holding on to this approach does not let the universe work for you — it waits until you have had enough failed expectations to relinquish the control you thought you had. Learning to relinquish control will allow more light into your life. You will begin to recognize that when you let go, things move — things happen — things unfold in ways you could not see or imagine. You are handing the situation over to a Higher Power — Father’s Grace.
 
“One thing you must understand about letting go and letting Father’s Grace guide you is that you are to work together with this guidance and use your energy — your thoughts, your words, your actions, and hold them up to the light. If the light shines on something dark in your past, you are to look at it, acknowledge it, and ask for mercy — to be shown a better way forward — to be included in a future that is moving toward light — that you are working with the light and not against it. When you sincerely express thoughts that show you are willing to be a participant in your own progress and in the healing of your world, then and there does the universe step in and steer the ship.
 
“Learning to relinquish control is a process that all humans are subject to in this very intense and short stay on Urantia — it is meant to quickly orient you to rely on your Father’s Grace so that in the worlds of light, hereafter, you may continue to grow and contribute to the Great Plan. It is a character builder that shows that you are responsible for the energy given to you in your precious life — that you are willing to be guided and to participate in your own growth. It is an admonition that you are a young soul and that you are not always right — that you welcome the wise guidance of Father’s Grace to show you what it means to be a child of the Creator.
 
“Even in your darkest hour, Father’s Grace is working out the details for the greatest way forward. You are still captain of your life, and Father will use whatever you allow (relinquish) to move you toward light and eternal life. The more guidance you accept, the more light will come into your life — and that, my dear students, is a universal constant.

Though you may feel divided and separated from other people by sex, race, culture, religion, politics, social class, or national identity, you are, none the less, the people of planet earth, and you have more in common than you do realize. As viewed from above — from the higher planes of the ascending worlds of time, which you shall one day experience for yourselves, your planet stands out as one that is most unusual, unique, dangerous, confused, beautiful, and the most interesting of all worlds in all the local universe — the one planet chosen to be host to the bestowal of the Creator Son. Only one inhabited planet in 10 million worlds can claim such distinction, and yet most of you go about your lives unaware of the potential you have to make a tremendous contribution to the growth of your souls and to the Great Plan to transform this confused world into the jewel of the universe.
 
“Each one of you is indwelled by a fragment of the Creator, which in and of itself, gives you a unique common bond that continually inspires and expresses the Will of this Creator to your minds, yet you only have to listen with the heart to hear it. If there is only one thing you may understand about life on your world, please understand this fact. When you choose to separate yourselves by the divisions of worldly identities you lose sight of your common heritage and you suffer from the self-inflicted wounds of hatred and bigotry because of your differences.
 
“The Creator Father is continually creating and exploring new ideas and expressing these ideas to His children (you) and He does this with the intention that within the diversity of life on each world, a truly unique idea may be expressed and a new experience will be born. You are the ‘experiencers’ and diversity is your strength, dear friends, not your enemy. Is it not greater to view a problem from many sides than to only see it from one viewpoint?
 
“Unity of purpose is strength, diversity of mind is creative. We observe, time and again, that when men and women are thrust into a situation of disaster, they soon forget about their worldly divisions and come together to help one another — to survive, to be free of suffering, and to rebuild their lives from the rubble of disaster. In that moment when you are standing in the rubble or the waters of disaster, you are equal. Brotherhood and love shines through the outer coverings and the true intention of the Creator begins to express itself having a clear path to the heart. This same spirit of brotherhood and love can be realized without the disasters of time to awaken the heart, and it can be realized when you focus your attention on the things you share in common. Do you not all desire to be loved? Do you not all desire to grow and find purpose in life? Do you not all love your children? Do you not all desire to live in peace and safety?
 
“The problem you still have is that you do not all desire equality. This is the plague of mankind — the idea that one must have not, so that the other can have. You are enslaved by the ‘monkey handcuff.’ A monkey will reach into a small hole to grab a banana, but cannot free his hand with the fruit in it and so he is bound to the device which prevents him from eating the fruit — he refuses to let go of the banana. His greed to have the fruit is greater than his need for freedom.
 
“Let go of the fruit, my friends, and use your diversity to free yourselves. First work together with the values that you hold in common — the differences can then be worked out for the greater good.

What does being “Guided in Light” really mean?

Teacher Uteah: Being “Guided in Light” means you are trusting in faith that your Indwelling Spirit, your guardians, and other guides are seeing that you are growing in character and in the likeness of your Creator Father. This sounds very straight forward, but in reality, this is something that needs much consideration because many of you fail to see that character growth comes with disillusionment and a realization that what you believed to be true turned out to be a lesson in humility. These hard lessons in life are not always given as a way to “beat you up” and make you strong, but they are meant to get you to slow down and use your insights and discernment to hold decisions up to light — applying Truth, Beauty and Goodness to the situation and possible outcomes before acting on them. Being “Guided in Light” means you are to be an equal partner with Guidance and “Apply Light” to your thoughts, decisions, and actions.
 
When the application of light is willingly and consciously applied by you, according to the maturity of your spiritual development, your Indwelling Spirit and your guidance teams can come in and bring the most value to your inner thoughts and decision making. Being “guided” means just that — you are moved along a path that you will ultimately choose when you consider the consequences of your actions before taking them. Guidance will point to those things you have learned when goodness was applied that turned out well. Being caught up in the emotions of the moment when there is confusion and misunderstandings may almost certainly lead to a hard lesson in the making. When this occurs, the entire guiding process has been circumvented by your own need to be right without considering the outcomes or the greater good of all parties involved.
 
A “wise person” is someone who has learned many lessons and came to the realization that when he or she slowed down in the moment of an emotional exchange and applied light, that the outcomes were more favorable to their own growth and the greater overall good for those involved in the exchange. This is not easy and it takes time, patience, and perseverance to benefit from “wise choices.” How do you apply light? A good starting point is to apply the “Golden Rule.” As simple as this sounds, it is one of the most difficult things to do because it means you have to be accountable for your actions before you take them!
 
You can think about it as using your imagination to bring light into the equation and seeing the outcome before it happens — like playing in the sandbox, you develop the solution by allowing the creative mind to test different situations and how those situations may turn out in reality. This creative process is where your guidance teams can come in and participate and show you the potential outcomes. Then you pick the most favorable path you created in your sandbox and use it as your sovereign decision. Wisdom comes from seeing which things worked as planned in the sandbox and which did not. Experience then tells you to choose a workable solution or go back to the sandbox for a more creative approach. Guidance will always point to the path that is best — it will be your work to do to look at all the options and decide.
 
A world settled in Light and Life is born from a majority of its citizens applying this simple consideration before acting on a decision. World peace will come from such a simple consideration in humility and in the application of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. It is not afar off and it can only come about when you make it a priority to use your energy to consciously use the litmus test of light and apply it to all your decisions.
 
Choose wisely — the survival of humanity and the quality of your future depends on your wise choices,

Ophelius: “Today we would like to speak about the “Tests of Time” — those situations where you find you must act or make a decision that will move you into a new space — a new life — a new way of being in the world. It’s as if you are being tested to see how you will choose and how you will act and hold yourself faced with a major change. My dear friends, these tests are real and they are “spiritually engineered” to “nudge” you onto a path that will move you in a near parallel with the divine plan for your life. Your Thought Adjuster (TA) and your Guardian Seraphim work in a coordinated way to bring opportunities and serendipitous situations into your life to help you grow and at the same time move you along the path of the divine plan.
 
“You, of course, can choose and act, or not act, in any way you decide because you have free will. Your TA “brings” the Father’s Will and your Guardian Seraphim “knows” the Father’s will and therefore will they bring these tests to you in various forms to teach and to examine the progress you are making in your short lives. Your stubbornness to avoid decisions and change will have a direct effect on the way your lessons will be presented.
 
“Your Guardian Seraphim (a pair) has an intimate and shared destiny with you and it is her job to see that your soul survives beyond this life and into eternity and that you eventually fuse with your TA. She is held accountable for your survivability and therefore will she do and “engineer” what is allowed by those high spirit authorities to move you into a place where you may grow and achieve the “Great Prize” — life eternal. Your TA chose you before your birth to be the personality and vessel of fusion. None are guaranteed because of free will and therefore do these “Tests of Time” become the tools for ensuring your survival.
 
“These tests come at you in various forms and in varying degrees of potential change throughout your life. Most of them you do not take notice of, yet those tests that bring major change can be acknowledged and you may become aware that you are about to grow by making a decision or accepting the circumstance of a not so seemingly desirous situation, that by faith, you hold as having ultimate value in the overall outcome of your life. When you notice these “soul-markers” in your life path, it can be sometimes fearful, yet to hold the growth potential in faith that all will be made right and will ultimately benefit your soul, is to be wise and spiritually powerful.
 
“When you recognize the test or the coming change, leverage all the spiritual resources you can through prayer, by asking questions and working through the decisions of time with your Spiritual Sponsors — your TA, guides, and guardians. You are never alone, my friends, we (spirit) — your unseen family are always with you and will help you through the transition. Know that your Heavenly Father knows what is best for you because it is what is best for all in the Great Plan and so will He bring you through the Tests of Time to a higher place of understanding. Never are you to be “punished” for any decision you make. You are only lovingly guided by the superlative methods available according to your willingness to do the Father’s will. The farther you are away from the divine plan, the more “work” has to be done by you to get back “on track.” Once you are “on track” your life will blossom and you will come into your purpose and really begin to live and enjoy the truth, beauty, and goodness of being alive and a willing participant in the Creation here and hereafter.

Your TA chose you before your birth to be the personality and vessel of fusion. None are guaranteed because of free will and therefore do these “Tests of Time” become the tools for ensuring your survival.
 
“These tests come at you in various forms and in varying degrees of potential change throughout your life. Most of them you do not take notice of, yet those tests that bring major change can be acknowledged and you may become aware that you are about to grow by making a decision or accepting the circumstance of a not so seemingly desirous situation, that by faith, you hold as having ultimate value in the overall outcome of your life. When you notice these “soul-markers” in your life path, it can be sometimes fearful, yet to hold the growth potential in faith that all will be made right and will ultimately benefit your soul, is to be wise and spiritually powerful.
 
“When you recognize the test or the coming change, leverage all the spiritual resources you can through prayer, by asking questions and working through the decisions of time with your Spiritual Sponsors — your TA, guides, and guardians. You are never alone, my friends, we (spirit) — your unseen family are always with you and will help you through the transition. Know that your Heavenly Father knows what is best for you because it is what is best for all in the Great Plan and so will He bring you through the Tests of Time to a higher place of understanding. Never are you to be “punished” for any decision you make. You are only lovingly guided by the superlative methods available according to your willingness to do the Father’s will. The farther you are away from the divine plan, the more “work” has to be done by you to get back “on track.” Once you are “on track” your life will blossom and you will come into your purpose and really begin to live and enjoy the truth, beauty, and goodness of being alive and a willing participant in the Creation here and hereafter.

Teacher Ophelius: “Today we will talk about the weather. Do you know which way the wind blows? The wind blows from a new direction and it indicates the change of seasons. You and your life are in the season of change and all things are becoming new. Though you may walk the same ground today, your soul is growing and you are seeing the world through maturing eyes. You are beginning to observe the actions of others from a higher perspective and holding your own thoughts up for examination with the leadings of spirit. You are entering the autumn of the old self where the leaves that served and nourished you in the summer are beginning to show their colors and you see them slowly falling away from you. Those around you are fearful of losing their leaves and hold on, yet for you, to let go will keep you safe from the storms of winter and your branches will not break.
 
“You are turning inward for a season while the winter rages on around you. You feel not the cold, nor the wind, because you have entered into the bliss of a spirit filled life. You are alive inside like never before and your desire for deeper meanings and spiritual values sustains you and draws your roots deeper into the ground. Your spirit soars in the midst of the gray skies, and your mind takes you to the greener pastures of peaceful realms where no harm can befall you. Sing loudly now and drown out the howling winds of winter, for your melodies warm the souls around you. You are an icon – a magnificent symbol of strength, and you wear the winter snows like a crystal robe where you glisten like an alabaster tower in the cold sun.
 
“The Father loves you and His Spirit indwells you and leads you to that secret pasture where only He and you know the way. Spend time here and sit at the Master’s feet and learn to listen to His soft wise voice. The time for questions and answers is past – now there is only the knowing that emerges from deep within. You trust now because there is no division. His voice leads you and points the way toward your purpose in this world. Hush now, and bask in the warmth of this Inner Sun and sprout the new blossoms of the coming age. Can you see how beautiful you are? The Father sees you this way – full of love, full of life, and sweet with the nectar of wisdom. See it now in your own mind and BECOME!

Teacher Uteah: My Dear Students,

Many of you are enthusiastic about working directly with your Thought Adjuster (TA) — to attune and to consecrate your will that you may advance and progress in your spiritual understanding of the Divine Gift. This is a needful attitude — to hold the constancy of the Indwelling Spirit of the Universal Father living and working in your mind — leading you to discover the untapped potentials as a future Finalitor destined to stand before the Universal Father on Paradise. Holding this long-range view is essential, but to actuate your budding potentials, here and now, requires you to experience the co-ordinate and co-creative aspects of a spirit-led life.

What exactly does this mean? Many of you are unsure how to approach a relationship with the Thought Adjuster because you don’t have a clear understanding of the application. This is understandable because your world is largely ignorant of the knowledge and framework of universe cosmology and deity expression; universe destiny; and soul evolution. You students are fortunate that you have discovered the Urantia Papers and have detailed knowledge of the purpose and ministry of the Thought Adjusters. Yet knowledge alone cannot mature the personality and bring you into attunement, or ascertain your Psychic Circles assuring your survival and passage to the shores of mansion world life. Only living experience can transcend the virtual destinies you see in the constructs of your mind and build the Morontia reality of a surviving soul.

Example: A medical student can only spend a limited amount of time in study, and must, at some point, demonstrate what he has learned and apply that knowledge on the healing of patients. It is through the transcending experience of application and interaction with real people and their needs that experience turns into wisdom. The decisions along the way that lead to progress in good medical practice become the basis for future decision making in diverse problem solving. A “good doctor” is someone who “practices” and becomes wise in the diagnosis of disease because of diverse experience and the decisions made that led to successful outcomes in past applications.

In the spiritual sense, the application of soul building and personality maturity requires you to “practice” the application of peace, love, and understanding as you live, work, and play with your fellows. The thought processes and the decisions made along the way is where the relationship with the Thought Adjuster can be more clearly understood. This is where the TA inserts divine application. It requires you to “think” not react. Thoughts come before decisions and actions. The TA “adjusts” your thoughts, so it must be that before you decide or act, you must think. To have a relationship with your TA requires you to be conscious of the presence of the Divine Indwelling, then to bring the TA into the process of thinking before decisions and actions.

You may not audibly hear your TA speak, but as you think and weigh all the options, your TA may insert subtle guidance using feelings, ideas, and imagery that leads to an outcome of higher good. The practice of inner dialog with the TA while in deep thought shall produce greater and greater results as you learn to trust in these co-creative thoughts; subtle feelings; and imaginings — this is divine leading!

Go now into that place where the TA speaks — into deep thought — asking questions — seeking answers — contemplating your future growth — your hopes and dreams — your next creation!
